What to do in summertime
Summer on Monte Bondone is a riot of colours, sounds and scents. Trekking lovers will find well-marked paths, offering spectacular views of the Brenta Dolomites.
At an altitude of 1,500 meters there is the amazing Viote plateau, a natural biotope which is home to the famous Alpine Botanical Garden. Countless walks and trekking routes of all difficulties depart from here, including the fascinating climb to the Three Peaks of Monte Bondone

Winter is not only skiing. On Monte Bondoneyou can also snowshoeing in order to explore the winter landscape of Monte Bondone in a unique way.
In the Viote nature reserve there are 35 km of cross-country trails and a sledding area for the fun of adults and children, with huts and restaurant where to taste the culinary specialties of Trentino.
Trento and its rich heritage of beauty and culture
Just 18 km from the Hotel Monte Bondone, the city of Trento offers a fascinating combination of history, art and culture. Unmissable visits to the Buonconsiglio Castle and to the MUSE, the science museum designed by Renzo Piano.
In addition to shopping in the historic center of Trento, not to be missed are Piazza Duomo, with its Neptune fountain and the Cathedral and a visit to the ancient Roman city.
Trento can be reached from Monte Bondone, not only by public transport, but also by the panoramic cable car from the suburb of Sardagna.

Monte Bondone is located in a strategic position, which allows you to visit numerous places in its surroundings with short trips.
In just half an hour’s drive it is possible to reach the Garda lake. The nearby Valle dei Laghi is full of charming Alpine lakes, characteristic villages, and well known for its distilleries. In Rovereto, the MART Museum of Contemporary Art and the numerous historical sites linked to the Great War are worth visiting. A short distance away there are also some of the most famous castles in Trentino, such as Castel Thun, Castel Beseno and Castel Stenico.
Don’t miss a visit to the wineries in the area, from the most famous labels of Trento DOC sparkling wines to small artisan businesses with exclusive wine production.
Skiarea Monte Bondone
The Monte Bondone ski area extends from 1.200 to 2.100 m above sea level and has 22 km of slopes entirely covered by snow making facilities. The closest lift is 400m far from the Hotel Monte Bondone. The training area with the ski schools are about 3 km away in Vason, easily reachable by car or with the free ski bus. Emotions for everyone is guaranteed even in the Snowpark, and during the night skiing under the stars.
